LAWSUIT UPDATE
Council members say they are against irresponsible development, yet the Planning Board members they appoint approved three mega warehouse projects in North Howell. All three projects were approved in virtual meetings in early 2023 (long after the pandemic had ended) and after the November 2022 election.
Taxpaying residents had to hire lawyers and file a lawsuit to stop these warehouses from being built. So what did the Planning Board do? It tried to get the lawsuit thrown out of court. What a slap in the face to THE PEOPLE!
On November 17, 2023, the Judge ruled against the Planning Board and in favor of THE PEOPLE! The Judge denied the motion to dismiss and the lawsuit challenging all three warehouse projects will proceed as one case.
